Inspiration

The Petavine Flush Mount Ceiling Light started from a flower bud seen from underneath, its petals folded in and gathered to a single point at the tip. We built the shade the same way, in soft panels that curve down from the rim and meet at the center, with each seam left visible as a raised line. From below it reads like a bud just before it opens. Lit, the panels glow evenly and the seams trace the shape across the ceiling.
