Inspiration

The Tessora Table Lamp started from a shelf in a country potter’s studio: unglazed vessels left out to dry, each one marked by hand before the clay set, one with a few dark thumbprints, one with a quick stroke of a loaded brush, one wrapped in a single band of brown slip. A field mushroom picked that morning sat on the end of the shelf, its gills turned up to the window. We carved those vessels by hand, sanded them smooth, and gave each one a textured shade to sit on top.

FAQ
Which style?
Spotted Cap has a ridged taupe shade like a mushroom’s gills and dark spots on the base; Ink Stroke pairs an off-white shade with bold black brushstrokes; Cocoa Swirl pairs a brown shade with a single brown band wrapped around the base.
Will it fit my nightstand?
The shades are 40–45cm/15.7–17.7″ wide, so they suit a wider nightstand, a console table or a living room side table. Allow at least the shade width in surface space.
How bright is it?
It holds one E26 or E27 bulb, 12W, in Warm Light (3000K). Most of the light falls down from the open bottom onto the table and base, which suits bedside reading and evening ambient light.
How do I turn it on?
Plug the 150cm/59″ cord into a standard outlet and press the inline push-button switch. No installation is needed, and the bulb is included.
