The Marvelle Pendant Light is a three-tier cascading drum pendant in cream handmade fiber paper with natural plant-fiber inclusions, suspended on a brass-tone cord with a small brass finial at the bottom. Each tier scales down from top to bottom for a layered, sculptural read. One E26 socket inside. Three sizes — 15.7″, 19.7″, or 23.6″ widest tier — for a dining table, foyer, kitchen island, or master bedroom. Mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, and Japandi style.

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

The Marvelle uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base) and ships with a bulb included. Use LED only — not incandescent or halogen. The paper sits close to the bulb and an LED runs cool, which protects the paper. Stay in the 2700–3000K warm white range for a soft dining or bedroom glow.

Is the paper real handmade fiber paper, and will it yellow over time?

Yes — the shade is handmade fiber paper with embedded natural plant fibers (visible as small tan flecks across each tier). Inclusion pattern and paper tone vary slightly piece to piece, which is characteristic of handmade work. Over years of use, natural-fiber paper can warm slightly in tone — expected aging, not a defect. The included low-heat LED slows this significantly compared to a hot bulb.

Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?

It’s a hardwired ceiling fixture connecting to a junction box, with a cord that can be shortened during install. We recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, code-compliant install — the paper drums need careful handling during mounting so they aren’t creased or torn.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?

No — paper is moisture-sensitive, and the Marvelle is for indoor, dry locations only. Keep it out of bathrooms with showers or tubs, damp basements, kitchens with high steam exposure, and any covered outdoor spaces. Humidity will warp the paper and may stain the plant-fiber inclusions.
