Kiely nasce da due forme che non combaciano perfettamente: un paralume di vetro rotondo su un cilindro diritto colorato, uno morbido e uno spigoloso. Questa discrepanza è l'intera filosofia di design — lo sguardo continua a muoversi tra loro invece di fermarsi. Le piccole sfere intorno alla base provenivano da un set di blocchi costruttivi per bambini che avevamo sulla scrivania al momento, e sono rimaste perché rompevano la geometria esattamente quel tanto che bastava. L'assenza di cavo era un vincolo deliberato: doveva essere una lampada che potessi raccogliere.

Con Ø4.7″ e altezza 7.2″, Kiely si adatta quasi ovunque — su un comodino, mensola, scrivania, ripiano del bagno o davanzale — e poiché non ha cavo, non è legata a una presa elettrica. Ecco il vero vantaggio: portarla a tavola, balcone, patio o terrazza la sera, e riportarla dentro. Più lampade funzionano bene come illuminazione da tavolo per tavoli outdoor lunghi, o disposte lungo una mensola. A few questions we hear most often about how the charging function works day to day.
Most cases up to 5mm thick charge without issue. Very thick cases, magnetic wallets, or cases with metal plates can weaken the connection — remove the case if charging feels slow or inconsistent.
Yes. The touch-dimmer and the charging base run on separate circuits, so adjusting brightness or switching between the three light settings never interrupts charging.
Yes. The lamp functions as a normal light at all times — the charging base only activates power delivery when it senses a compatible device placed on it.
Wireless models use a Qi charging pad built into the base — just set your phone down. USB models have physical USB-A and USB-C ports, which also charge tablets, e-readers, and earbuds cases at full speed.
