What is the cord length?

The twisted cord is 150cm/59″ long and adjustable during installation, so you can set it to the height you need.

How is this lamp installed?

It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and operated by your wall switch. Cord length is set during installation. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

What materials is this lamp made from?

The shade is molded petal-relief glass in green or amber. The stem is turned black walnut, and the socket and canopy are brass. The canopy is 12cm/4.7″ in diameter.

How do I care for this lamp?

Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Dust the walnut with a dry cloth. Brass may develop a natural patina over time.

Inspiration

The Briarwick Pendant Lamp started from the pressed-glass candy dishes and colored bowls that once lined farmhouse windowsills, where afternoon sun turned green or amber glass into small pools of color. We shaped the shade as an open flower with rows of molded petals, so the light catches on every ridge. A turned black walnut stem sits above it like the wooden handle of an old tool, joined to the glass by a brass socket cup. Lit, the glass glows green or amber and tints the light that falls on the table below.

FAQ

Which size should I choose?

Small 18cm/7.1″ suits a bedside, the space over a kitchen sink, or a row of two or three over an island. Large 26cm/10.2″ works as a single pendant over a small dining table or breakfast nook. Hang the bottom about 75–90cm/30–36″ above a table or counter.

Should I choose Green or Amber?

Green gives a cooler, botanical tint that pairs well with wood and white kitchens. Amber gives a warmer, honey-colored glow that suits vintage and farmhouse rooms.

Does it have its own switch?

No. It is hardwired and turns on and off with your wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

Which bulb should I use?

A 6W warm-light bulb is included. The bulb shows below the shade, so for replacements choose a decorative E26 or E27 LED globe bulb at 2700–3000K.

Subtiele organische variaties maken elk stuk uniek
