De Lavaire Wandlamp herdefiniëert minimalistische functionaliteit met een sculpturale draai. Nr. 02 — Het materiaal

Een steen die tweeduizend jaar onderweg was.

Travertijn ontstaat gedurende millennia wanneer mineraalrijk bronwater zich in lagen tot vaste steen opbouwt. Geen twee stukken zien er hetzelfde uit — elk stuk draagt zijn eigen spoor van poriën, nerven en kleurvariatie. De onregelmatigheden die je ziet, zijn geen onvolkomenheden. Het is de vingerafdruk van de steen.
