De Flutara opbouwspot vormt een stoffen kap in een golvend, gegolfd silhouet, dicht tegen het plafond bevestigd op een korte metalen stok met rond rozet. Het open centrum van de kap laat de lamp zichtbaar, die door de opening heen gloedt terwijl de geplisseerde stof het licht langs het golvende oppervlak diffundeert.
