Good To Know

!
E26 9W LED included per shade · 2 shapes · 1/2/3-light configurations · hardwired · indoor dry only Each shade is handwoven natural rattan over a metal frame, finished in a dark walnut-tone stain. Weave pattern, rattan diameter, and stain depth vary slightly from shade to shade, which is characteristic of handwoven natural rattan, not a defect. New rattan may smell faintly grassy for a few days. The 47.2″ (120 cm) brown twisted-cloth cord is adjustable per cord during install. Single-light version uses a round wood ceiling cup (3.9″ D); 2- and 3-light versions hang from a black metal linear bar (31.5″ or 39.4″). Use the included low-heat LED bulbs — rattan prefers cool bulbs. Hardwires to a ceiling junction box; have a licensed electrician install. Indoor, dry locations only.
Key Features

Two Shapes — Cone or Dome
Pick the silhouette that suits the room: a low saucer-cone for a wider, flatter spread, or a tall dome bell for more vertical presence and a cozier downlight.
1, 2, or 3 Lights on a Black Bar
Single fixture on a small wood cup, or 2-light (31.5″ bar) / 3-light (39.4″ bar) linear cluster on a black metal canopy — built for kitchen islands and longer dining tables.
Handwoven Dark Rattan
Each shade is hand-woven from natural rattan over a metal frame and finished in a dark walnut-tone stain. Visible weave pattern, warm earthy tone, lights up softly through the woven gaps when on.

Use Case

The Calora is built around warm, layered light through visible weave — dark rattan glows softly through the woven gaps when the bulb is on, and the dark stain reads as a rich anchor against light walls. The shape choice matters: Saucer Cone spreads light more widely and hangs closer to the ceiling, ideal for rooms with tight headroom or where you want gentler vertical presence; Dome Bell pools light more tightly downward and reads more sculptural from across the room.

Configuration matters more than size, in most rooms. Single light works as a bedside pendant, foyer focal point, or above a small breakfast nook. 2-light linear (31.5″ bar) hangs neatly over a 4-6 seat dining table or a medium kitchen island. 3-light linear (39.4″ bar) is the kitchen-island workhorse — long 7′ to 9′ islands and 6-8 seat dining tables. The dark rattan + walnut wood + black metal palette pairs with white oak, painted shaker cabinetry, raw linen and bouclé, terracotta tile, jute and sisal rugs, warm-white paint — fitting modern farmhouse kitchens, Japandi dining rooms, coastal sunrooms, and rustic-modern master bedrooms. FAQ

Which shape should I pick — Saucer Cone or Dome Bell?
Saucer Cone is low and wide — spreads light over a broader footprint and hangs close to the ceiling. Good for rooms with tight headroom (under 8′ ceilings), wide kitchen islands, or where you want gentler vertical presence. Dome Bell is taller and rounded — pools light downward into a more contained pool, reads more sculptural from across the room, and has more visual weight. Good for bedrooms, foyers, single-statement dining tables, and rooms with standard or higher ceilings.
Which configuration should I pick — 1, 2, or 3 lights?
Pick by what’s underneath. Single light for a bedside pendant, a foyer focal point, a small breakfast nook, or a hallway. 2-light linear (31.5″ bar) for a 4-6 seat dining table or a medium kitchen island. 3-light linear (39.4″ bar) for a long 7′-9′ kitchen island or a 6-8 seat dining table. A rough rule: the total bar length should be about 60–75% of the table or island length.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
Each shade uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base), and ships with a 9W warm-white LED bulb included per shade — one bulb for single-light, two for 2-light, three for 3-light. Stay in the 2700–3000K range to keep the warm tone the rattan was designed around. Use LED only — the rattan and the enclosed shade both prefer cool-running bulbs.
Will the rattan warp or fade over time?
Natural rattan in an indoor dry location holds its shape for years. The dark walnut stain may lighten very slightly after long sunlight exposure, but indoor pendants are rarely in direct sun. Don’t hang in a bathroom with a shower, a damp basement, or a covered outdoor patio — humidity weakens the rattan weave and mottles the stain. Wipe dust monthly with a dry soft brush; spot-treat marks with a barely-damp cloth, don’t soak.
Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?
It’s a hardwired ceiling fixture. Single-light mounts to a standard ceiling junction box through the round wood cup; multi-light versions mount through the black metal linear bar, which spans two screw points into the ceiling. We recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, code-compliant install — especially for the multi-light bar, which needs straight alignment with the surface below. Cord length is adjustable per cord during install.
