La Araña Astra Wood resuelve una pregunta que la mayoría de las luminarias evitan: qué sucede cuando material natural cálido y cristal blanco limpio se colocan en la misma composición. El marco de madera de nogal y el hardware de acabado negro mate mantienen los globos de cristal a las distancias exactas entre sí — cada uno de un tamaño diferente en las configuraciones multibrazo, creando un arreglo graduado que se lee como deliberado, no ensamblado.
Cuando está encendida, los globos de cristal blanco difunden su luz suavemente hacia todas direcciones. La madera capta esa luz en su veta. El espacio debajo se asienta en algo cálido y resuelto.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.
