Inspiration

The Tarnell Flush Mount Ceiling Light started from river stones worn thin by water, and from the edge of a wave as it folds over just before it breaks. We shaped a low, round stone ring whose rim rises and dips like that fold, so it looks a little different from each side of the room. Its surface carries the fine speckle and sandy warmth of yellow travertine, and no two pieces match exactly. Lit, a white disc glows inside the ring and the stone edge catches a soft halo of light.

Which size should I choose?
Small 43cm/16.9″ suits a guest bedroom or home office. Medium 49cm/19.3″ suits a primary bedroom or dining room. Large 59cm/23.2″ is for a living room or open-plan space, where one fixture lights the whole room.
Will it work with a low ceiling?
Yes. At only 7cm/2.8″ deep, it sits close to the ceiling, which keeps headroom in rooms with standard 8ft/2.4m ceilings or lower.
What kind of light does it give?
Even, warm ambient light. The built-in LED shines through a white diffuser panel, so there is no visible bulb or glare, and a soft glow catches the inner edge of the stone rim.
Does it need bulbs?
No. The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. Power is 36W, 48W or 56W depending on the size.
