I purchased this light fixture to replace an old one situated above my sink. The entire replacement process was incredibly easy, and once installed, the dimensions fit perfectly. As lighting for the sink area, the brightness is just right: it isn't overly harsh or glaring, yet it provides ample light for me to clearly see inside the sink, making cleaning tasks much easier. Furthermore, the light is pleasantly soft and moderate—so much so that I can leave it switched on even after the "kitchen is closed" (i.e., when things have quieted down). I absolutely love it, and I am currently considering buying two more to install above my kitchen island. Plus, the price is very affordable!
