On a single Venetian island, master glassblowers have shaped molten color into light since 1291. We work directly with these same artisans — fewer than a hundred remain — to bring their fire, breath, and signature into your home. Every Docos piece is hand-blown, hand-finished, and signed by its maker. There are no factories. Only furnaces, time, and a skill that cannot be hurried.

Gathering

Pulled from the 1,150°C furnace — the moment glass becomes possibility.

Coloring

Layered with metallic oxides — copper for green, gold for ruby, cobalt for deep blue.

Shaping

Blown and turned by breath alone — the maestro's lungs sculpting the silhouette.

Sculpting

Petals, leaves, and finials pulled by hand while the glass still glows orange.

Annealing

Cooled across 24 hours — the silent step that locks in lifetime strength.

Signing

Each lamp inspected, numbered, and signed by the maestro who made it.
