Inspiration

The Louvera Floor Lamp started from a fishing rod bent out over a lake at dusk, with a small lantern hung from its tip to light the water below: the rod curving up and out from the bank, and the lantern’s stacked slats letting the light fall in soft rings. We kept the long curve, made the lower pole in a walnut tone and the tip in bright metal, and hung a cream dome with stacked louver rings where the lantern used to be.

Louvered Dome Shade
A cream acrylic and glass dome, Dia 30cm/11.8″, with stacked louver rings beneath it that soften the bulb from below.
Foot Switch, Long Cord
Plugs into a standard outlet on a 450cm/177″ cord with a foot switch; bulb included.

How far does it reach?
The arc stands 165cm/65″ tall and reaches 100cm/39.4″ out from the base. Place the base beside a sofa or armchair and the shade hangs over the seat or a coffee table.
How bright is it?
It holds one E26 or E27 bulb in Warm Light (3000K), included. The cream dome glows softly and the louver rings send light down, which suits reading in a chair and evening ambient light.
What colors are the pole and shade?
The lower pole and round base are walnut tone, the upper arc is chrome, and the dome shade with its louver rings is cream.
How do I turn it on?
Plug the 450cm/177″ cord into a standard outlet and press the foot switch. No hardwiring is needed.
