La Tavien Table Light pose un abat-jour en papier de riz teinté et fait à la main sur une tige en bois massif et une base en travertin tourné, dont les veines naturelles et les piqûres sont visibles sur le piédestal. La lumière traverse la texture fibreuse du papier de riz pour créer une lueur douce et chaleureuse plutôt qu'un faisceau direct.
