Liila Ceiling Light

DCC-01944-01

$165.00 USD $229.00 USD

| /

The Liila Ceiling Light is the fixture that makes a single ceiling worth designing. Its resin canopy — sculpted with a floral geometric relief — is a decorative object in its own right, visible from across the room even before the lamp is switched on. The acrylic globe diffuses the G9 bulb into a warm, even glow below. Mount one over a nightstand. Group three across a hallway ceiling. Arrange five in an open living room and the ceiling becomes the most considered surface in the space.

Designed to be used in multiples. The composition scales with quantity.

The Difference It Makes
One Standard Ceiling Light
  • Single flat fixture, single light source
  • Ceiling reads as empty and utilitarian
  • No visual interest above eye level
  • Light falls uniformly — no depth or layering
  • Room feels finished but not designed
Multiple Liilas
  • Ceiling becomes a composed visual field
  • Each fixture adds a warm, defined light pool above
  • Multiple pools of warm light create depth
  • Ceiling feels intentionally designed
  • Room has a distinct visual structure from above
How Many to Use
×2 A Pair

Two Liilas flanking a bed or sofa create bilateral symmetry — each casting its own warm light pool while the decorative canopies give the ceiling a considered, composed quality.

×5 A Composition

Five across an open-plan ceiling — in a grid, scattered asymmetrically, or grouped with varying heights — turns the ceiling into the room's most considered design decision.

Where It Works
🚪 Hallway

Three Liilas spaced evenly along a corridor ceiling transform the most utilitarian space in a home — the decorative canopies create a continuous composed visual rhythm from end to end, and the combined light output is warm and even throughout.

3 in a line
🛏 Bedroom

One centered above the bed as a primary light — or two, flanking it. The dimmer-compatible design lets the room move from bright and functional to warm and atmospheric in one adjustment.

Dimmer compatible
🛋 Living Room

Multiple Liilas replace a single centered fixture with a distributed system — each seating zone gets its own warm overhead pool, and the ceiling gains visual structure it didn't have before.

Distributed lighting
Better in Multiples
×3
The ceiling starts working at three. One Liila is a considered detail. Three is a designed ceiling. The same fixture that works as a standalone bedside light becomes something architecturally deliberate when repeated — the decorative canopies create visual rhythm across the ceiling, the pools of warm light define zones, and the ceiling becomes as designed as any other surface in the room. Order three of the same finish for a uniform arrangement, or mix Beige and White for a tonal variation.
Complete the Space
🏮 Pendant Lamp Use Liilas for ambient ceiling coverage and add a single statement pendant above the dining table or bed — the Liila array handles the overall ceiling field, the pendant handles the focal point. Focal + Field
🕯 Wall Sconces Combine ceiling Liilas with wall-mounted sconces at eye level — the ceiling and wall both carry designed light, and the room has three distinct lighting planes: ceiling, wall, and ambient. Three-Layer System
🪟 Floor Lamp Add a floor lamp in a corner to complete the ambient surround — the Liilas handle the ceiling, the floor lamp handles the walls, and no surface is left unloved. Full Room Coverage
Installation Notes
ℹ️ Canopy Base: To accommodate the internal LED driver and ensure safe wiring, this fixture features a functional canopy base approximately 2–3 cm thick. It is not a fully recessed or flush-mount design.
ℹ️ Ceiling Gap: Once installed, there will be a slight intentional gap between the back of the decorative plate and the ceiling surface. This is by design — the fixture is not designed to sit 100% flat against the ceiling.
ℹ️ Acrylic Globe: The spherical shade is crafted from high-quality acrylic (not frosted glass) for optimal light diffusion. A subtle mold line may be visible — this is a standard characteristic of the material and does not affect performance or safety.
