Inspiration

The Cavren Pendant Light follows a mid-century way of building a lamp in layers instead of one closed shell, stacking saucer shades so each tier catches the light on its way out and the source stays hidden from anyone sitting under it. Read in stone and wood, that stack behaves like a small cairn balanced on a cord, the tiers spaced apart rather than sealed together. The gap between them is the whole point of the shape: light slips out sideways to fill the room while the rest drops straight down onto the surface below, which is how a kitchen island pendant has to work to be useful for prep. Hung singly over a nightstand or in a row above an island or a dining table, it lands in mid-century modern, organic modern, and Japandi rooms where the lighting is meant to do a job and not perform.

Key Features

Stacked Travertine Tiers
Two yellow travertine discs sit at different diameters, with the stone's natural pitting visible across both faces.
24W Full-Spectrum LED
A full-spectrum LED core at 3000K sits between the tiers, throwing light down through the base and out through the open gaps.
150cm Adjustable Cord
The 150cm/59″ cord shortens at installation, so the same pendant works over a counter or at bedside height.
Good To Know

!
Natural Stone VariationTravertine is quarried, not manufactured. Tone and the size and pattern of the surface pitting differ from piece to piece, including between the two tiers on one pendant, so no fixture matches the product photos exactly.

No. 02 — The Material

A stone that took two thousand years to arrive.

Travertine forms over millennia as mineral-rich spring water layers into solid stone. No two sections look alike — each piece carries its own trace of pores, veins, and color drift. The irregularities you see aren't imperfections. They're the stone's fingerprint.

No. 03

Four reasons
travertine feels different.

A growing number of US homes are swapping cold metal and glossy finishes for materials with real presence. Here's what makes this stone hold up to that shift — and why it holds up in a room.

01 / 04

One-of-a-kind texture

Every piece carries its own pattern of pores, veins, and soft color shifts. Shaped over millennia — not printed, not stamped. The lamp on your table is, by nature, unique.

02 / 04

Warm, lived-in tones

Natural cream, sand, and honey hues that read warm in any light — from morning sun to the last lamp-lit hour of the evening. The color the stone brings to the room doesn't read dated five years later.

03 / 04

Real stone, real weight

You feel it the moment you pick one up. Solid in the hand, grounded on the table. Nothing hollow, nothing plastic trying to imitate the surface of something it isn't.

04 / 04

Built to age well

Travertine softens beautifully with time. A lamp today, a piece that looks even better in ten years. The kind of purchase that earns its price instead of dating itself.

No. 04 — On Craft

"Every lamp is cut from a single block of natural travertine, then hand-finished until the surface is smooth to the touch but still honest about what it is — real stone, not composite, not resin."

No. 05 — Placement

Where travertine lighting belongs.

Each room has a spot that changes when a piece of stone lands in it. Three placements we keep seeing work.

No. 06 — Film Reel — Stone & Light

See how the stone
warms the light.

A diffused, honey-toned glow — softened once by the shade, and again by the stone around it.
