De Cavren Hanglamp volgt een mid-century-manier van het bouwen van een lamp in lagen in plaats van één gesloten schaal, met schotels gestapeld zodat elke laag het licht onderweg vangt en de bron verborgen blijft voor iedereen die eronder zit. Uitgewerkt in steen en hout, gedraagt die stapeling zich als een klein steenhoop in evenwicht aan een snoer, met de lagen uit elkaar in plaats van aan elkaar gesloten. De ruimte ertussen is het hele punt van de vorm: licht glipt zijwaarts uit om de ruimte te vullen terwijl de rest recht naar beneden valt op het oppervlak eronder — precies zoals een eilandhanglamp moet werken om nuttig te zijn voor bereidingen. Of alleen boven een nachttafel of in een rij boven een eiland of eettafel, het past in mid-century modern, organic modern en Japandi-interieurs waar de verlichting een taak moet uitvoeren en niet alleen decoratief is.
