Inspiratie

De Mervane Pendant Light ontstaat uit handgedraaide keramiek, waarbij een pot wordt opgebouwd door opgerolde kleikluwen stapelsgewijs op elkaar op te stapelen. De meeste pottenbakkers maken deze spiralen glad; door ze te behouden krijgt deze kap zijn drie zwellende ringen en zijn lichte scheefstand. Een gedraaid kraaltje zit bovenaan waar de kabel het steen ontmoet, wat de lijn afsluit in plaats van de verbinding te verbergen. De vorm leest als wabi-sabi, Japandi of organisch modern boven een keukeneiland, een nachtkastje of eettafel.

Gerolde travertijnkap

Grijswitte travertijn gesneden in drie gestapelde ringen, 15cm/5,9″ in doorsnee, met de open porositeit van de steen op elke winding.

Massief houten kraalverbinding

Een gedraaide houten kraal bekroont de kap waar het snoer naar binnen gaat, en onderbreekt de val in plaats van een blote fitttingkap.

Eén, twee of drie drops

Een enkele hanglamp, of twee en drie koppen op een massief houten lineair baldakijn, elk snoer tijdens installatie ingekort.

In welke maten is dit verkrijgbaar?

Elke kap is Ø 15cm/5.9″ × H 16cm/6.3″. Kies voor een enkele kop met een Ø 9cm/3.5″ canopé, twee koppen op een L 60cm/23.6″ houten canopé, of drie koppen op een L 80cm/31.5″ canopé.

Kan de ophänghoogte worden aangepast?

Ja. De enkele kop heeft een verstelbare lengte van 120–200cm/47–79″, en de twee- en driekoppige versies worden geleverd met 170cm/66.9″ snoeren die bij montage worden ingekort, zodat de hanglengtes gelijk of afwisselend kunnen worden ingesteld.

Welke lamp erbij?

Een standaard E26 of E27 schroefdraad — één per kap, dus één, twee, of drie, afhankelijk van de uitvoering.

Waar bestaat de hanglamp uit?

Een gebroken-witte travertijn kap met een massieve houten kraal bij het snoer. De multikoppige canopé is massief hout; de enkelvoudige canopé is aluminium met een PVC-bekleding.
