De Tavric Wandlamp ontleent zijn vorm aan een omgekeerde pot, de brede, ondiepe kegel van een handgedraaide schaal of de rand van een gevlochten zonnehoed tegen de wand. Het ontwerp was gemaakt om het licht te verbergen in plaats van tentoon te stellen, zodat een ruimte de gloed voelt en niet de bron ziet – dezelfde terughoudendheid als achter wabi-sabi en Japandi-interieurs waar een armatuur bedoeld is om bescheiden te blijven. Gemonteerd in een slaapkamer, hal of langs een trap, staat deze organic modern wandlamp dichter bij een architectonisch element dan bij een lamp, en een bijpassend paar boven een hoofdeinde of naast een badkamerspiegel houdt die logica langs de wand.
