We haven't had proper floor lamps in our house for years. We just haven't needed them, not when we have ceiling fixtures, wall lights, and clip-on lamps to fit every possible place I need them. But, I saw this floor lamp and thought, you know, that looks REALLY handy, so I grabbed one to test out in my office.

For the price this floor lamp is very good quality. As a home stager I have used it a few times since buying it and I am very impressed.

Sits next to my favorite reading spot. I velcroed the floor switch to my arm's reach on the stand and can operate it without searching for the on/off button. Bright enough and not intrusive.

I purchased this lamp because in my apartment we do not have a light in the living room and we just wanted small that could illuminate the room without taking up too much space.
