I got this lamp for a very specific spot in my living room and its perfect. Its between two windows and adds just the right amount of extra light without taking up floor space. I had to look at the instructions for quite a bit but I eventually got it and once I did, installation was easy.

Well packaged with no breakage of the glass shade. I didnt hard-wire it but the instructions are clear. If not confident, please hire a licensed electrician. It does come with everything needed for hard-wiring. Beautiful when lit. Highly recommend.
