Inspiration

The Arcelle Chandelier is an oblong pill-shape linear chandelier — a long narrow cream fabric shade with subtle vertical pleats and a dark walnut wood trim along the bottom, suspended on two slim black rods between small brass-tone canopies. Built-in LED, no bulbs to replace. Five sizes from 39.4″ to 98.4″ wide. For a long dining table, kitchen island, conference room, hotel lobby, or restaurant. Modern Asian, Japandi, and contemporary style.

Good To Know

!
Integrated LED (not replaceable) · 2 ceiling mounting points · hardwired install · indoor dry only Light source is built in — a 36W warm-white LED strip inside the shade plus four 1W LED accent spots, total 40W. There are no E26 sockets and no bulbs to change; if the LED fails after warranty, the entire shade module needs servicing. The chandelier suspends on two independent black metal rods ending at two small brass-tone canopies — that means two ceiling mounting points, spaced from 14.8″ (smallest) to 63″ (largest) apart depending on the size. Confirm your ceiling can accommodate two mounting points the correct distance apart before ordering. Rod length ships at 47.2″ (120 cm), adjustable. Indoor, dry locations only.
Key Features

Oblong Pill-Shape Silhouette
A long, narrow, capsule-like fabric shade with subtle vertical pleats and a contrasting dark walnut wood trim along the bottom edge — reads horizontal and quietly architectural over a long table.
Built-In LED — 36W + 4×1W
A 36W LED strip inside the shade for soft warm ambient light, plus four 1W LED accent spots for focused downlight. No bulbs to buy or swap.
Walnut Trim + Black Rods + Brass Canopies
A dark walnut wood bar runs along the bottom of the shade, slim black metal rods rise to two small brass-tone ceiling canopies — a quiet mix of three warm tones.
Available Sizes

Five sizes — choose at checkout. Fabric shade, walnut trim, black rod, and brass canopies are the same across sizes; only the shade length, rod spacing, and (for the smallest size) shade depth change. The rod spacing tells you the distance between the two ceiling mounting holes.

Use Case

The Arcelle is built for long horizontal spaces — the pill silhouette reads quietly architectural rather than fussy, and the integrated LED gives a soft, even ambient wash through the cream shade with four small accent spots aimed downward at the table. The walnut wood trim at the bottom is the visual anchor: it reads from across the room and ties the chandelier into wood tables, oak floors, and warm millwork.

Scale to the surface below: Size 1 (39.4″) over a small kitchen island or 4-6 seat table; Size 2 (47.2″) over a 6-seat table; Size 3 (59.1″) over a 6-8 seat dining table or longer kitchen island; Size 4 (78.7″) for an 8-10 seat table, conference room, or banquet area; Size 5 (98.4″) for hotel lobbies, boardrooms, and 10-12 seat banquet tables. A rough rule: the chandelier should be roughly 60–75% of the table or island length. The cream fabric + walnut + black + brass palette pairs with oak and walnut tables, plaster walls, raw linen upholstery, warm-white paint, terracotta tile — fitting modern Asian dining rooms, Japandi master kitchens, contemporary executive offices, and hospitality-grade restaurant and hotel interiors. FAQ

Which size should I pick for my table or island?
Measure the surface below and aim for a chandelier that’s 60–75% of the table or island length. Rough guide: 39.4″ for a small kitchen island or 4-6 seat table; 47.2″ for a 6-seat table; 59.1″ for a 6-8 seat or longer kitchen island; 78.7″ for an 8-10 seat table or conference room; 98.4″ for a 10-12 seat banquet table or hotel lobby. Measure your ceiling rod-spacing capacity first — the largest size needs 63″ between two mounting points.
Can the bulbs be replaced?
No — the LED is built into the shade. The 36W warm-white strip and the four 1W accent spots are integrated and not user-serviceable. There are no E26 sockets and no bulbs to buy. If the LED fails within the warranty period, the entire shade module is serviced or replaced. Plan for this as a long-life fixture (50,000+ hour rating on most integrated-LED chandeliers, though Arcelle’s specific LED life rating may vary).
How many ceiling mounting points are needed?
Two. The chandelier suspends from two independent black rods ending at two small brass-tone canopies, spaced according to size: 14.8″ (Size 1), 17.7″ (Size 2), 23.6″ (Size 3), 43.3″ (Size 4), or 63″ (Size 5). Confirm your ceiling can accommodate two junction boxes the correct distance apart — ideally a licensed electrician walks the install before you order, especially for Size 4 and Size 5.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmability of the integrated LED is not guaranteed by default. The factory-default driver may or may not be dimmable depending on shipment. If you need dimming (TRIAC or 0-10V), email info@docos.us before ordering so we can confirm or arrange a dimmable driver. Don’t assume dimmability without confirmation — pairing a non-dimming driver with a wall dimmer can damage the LED and the dimmer.
Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?
Have a licensed electrician install this fixture. Reasons: it’s a hardwired ceiling chandelier with two junction box connections, not one; the rod alignment needs to be straight relative to the table below, and a long fixture amplifies any rotation error; and the fabric shade plus walnut trim need careful handling so they aren’t crushed or scratched during install. Cord length is adjustable per rod during install.

Questions
How many pendants do I need over an island?

About one pendant per 2′–3′ of island. Most 6′–8′ islands use a trio or a single linear; 4′–6′ islands use two; 10′+ islands use three to four or a long linear bar.

How high should island lighting hang?

30″–36″ above the counter to the bottom of the fixture, with 34″ a reliable midpoint. Add about 3″ per foot of ceiling above 8′.

Linear or a set of pendants?

Linear for the cleanest sightline on 6′+ islands; a pendant trio for a layered look on 6′–8′ islands; a multi-light bar for 10′+ islands.

Can these install on a sloped ceiling?

Most canopies fit pitches up to 15°. For steeper slopes, request a sloped-ceiling adapter — send us the angle and we'll confirm fit.

Are they dimmable, and what's the warranty?

Yes, all dim with a compatible wall dimmer. Wired for 120V, certified to North American standards, with a 2-year warranty on fixture and wiring.
