Docos · Finish Reference
This is the same reference our own workshop specifies from — every finish that appears across Docos' collections, gathered in one place so you can compare tone, request physical chips, and build a list to send straight to our studio.
Every finish we make, to scale, side by side.
The Library
Filter by metal family, or type a name or reference code — try "BRZ" or "ABRS" — to jump straight to a finish. Tap any tile to read its notes and add it to a selection you can send us.
Field Notes
Most specification confusion comes down to these two calls. Get them right and matching finishes across a single room gets much easier.
The mix-up we hear most often, on any finish that reads as "chrome."
Warm — a faint gold cast underneath the shine. Softer and more forgiving, the classic pick.
Cool — a clean, faintly blue mirror. The most modern and most reflective of the two.
Brass is the one finish that spans a full spectrum, from raw to heavily worn.
Honest, matte gold. No ageing applied — it will warm further on its own over time.
An even, settled patina. Reads aged but composed — nothing spotty or uneven.
Heavily aged, with blackened detail. Full collected-over-years character.
Sampling
Screens flatter every metal. We send hand-finished chips so you can judge tone and reflectance in your own light, against your own materials, before anything is specified.
Add any finish above to your list. Keep going until you've got everything you want to compare.
Copy your list or email it to us directly — no forms, no account needed.
We prepare hand-finished sample chips for everything on your list, with pricing to match.
