The Bohemira Pendant Light is a tiered-fringe cone pendant — a metal cone frame fully wrapped in natural jute rope, finished with two stacked tiers of natural cotton tassel fringe at the bottom edge. Suspended on a 19.7″ gold-tone chain. One E26 socket inside. Three sizes — 15.7″, 19.7″, or 23.6″ wide — for a dining table, kitchen island, master bedroom, foyer, or sunroom. Bohemian, coastal grandma, Mediterranean, and tropical resort style.

Plan headroom: hang the bottom of the fringe about 30–36″ above a dining table, or roughly 7′ from the floor over a walkway. Indoor, dry locations only.

Which size should I pick?

Pick by what’s underneath. Small (15.7″) for a 4-seat dining table, breakfast nook, or foyer. Medium (19.7″) for a 6-seat dining table, medium kitchen island, or master bedroom — the everyday size. Large (23.6″) for an 8-seat dining table, a wide kitchen island, or a sunroom as a boho focal point. A common rule: pendant width should be about half to two-thirds of the table width.

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

The Bohemira uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base) and ships with a bulb included. Use LED only — not incandescent or halogen. Jute and cotton both prefer cool bulbs since they sit close to the socket. Stay in the 2700–3000K warm white range for a soft dining or living-room glow.

Will the cotton fringe shed?

New cotton tassel fringe may shed a few loose threads in the first weeks — this is normal for natural cotton, not a defect. Trim any stray threads with sharp scissors flush to the fringe; don’t pull them. After the loose ends settle (usually within a month), shedding stops. Color, fringe length, and tassel density may vary slightly piece to piece — characteristic of hand-finished cotton tassel work.

Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?

It’s a hardwired ceiling fixture mounting through the gold-tone chain canopy to a junction box. We recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, code-compliant install — the jute-wound cone and cotton fringe need careful handling so the weave and tassels aren’t crushed or tangled during mounting.

Can I use it on a covered patio or in a bathroom?

No — jute and cotton are for indoor, dry locations only. Keep it out of bathrooms with showers or tubs, damp basements, kitchens directly above a sink with steam exposure, and covered outdoor patios. Humidity weakens the jute weave, mottles the cotton fringe, and accelerates mildew on natural fibers.
