This table lamp brings two materials into the same object that belong together — a curved fabric shade that falls softly over a solid spherical wood base. The fabric diffuses the bulb into a warm, even ambient glow while the rounded wood form below grounds the lamp with a material weight that plastic and ceramic bases don't have. The black trim at the shade's edge is the detail that keeps the whole thing from reading as generic. Available in four finishes that span from warm to graphic.
The lamp that adds warmth to the room before it's even switched on.
The push-button switch is reachable in the dark. The warm fabric glow winds the room down before sleep and provides enough light for reading. The wood base makes the nightstand feel considered rather than cluttered.
Push-button switchOn a side table or console beside the sofa, the lamp adds a warm secondary light layer to the room — the wood base anchors the surface visually while the fabric shade fills the seating area with soft ambient output.
Ambient layerThe spherical wood base reads as a collected object on any desk or bookshelf — it looks intentional alongside books, plants, and ceramics. The fabric shade adds warmth to a workspace that would otherwise rely on cool overhead light.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

Why Wood Lighting?
Wood diffuses warm 2700K light across its grain — no glare, no clinical glow. Every bulb feels like late-afternoon sun.
Tonal variation, knots, and grain patterns are signatures, not flaws. Your lamp will be subtly its own — and only yours.
We use FSC-certified North American hardwoods and finish with low-VOC oils. Built to last decades, not seasons.
From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.
Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.
Choose Your Grain
Most Docos pieces are offered in the four hardwoods below. Pick the species that suits your room — they age beautifully, each in their own way.
Open grain, golden tone. The most versatile pick — pairs with every interior style.
Deep chocolate hues, ribbon grain. Statement-piece energy in any room.
Light, airy, almost Scandinavian. Works in bright minimal interiors.
Develops a deeper patina with age — the longer you own it, the better it looks.
Naturally Warm Ambience
Wood's organic surface filters and softens illumination — reducing glare, casting a warm, diffused glow. Beyond the look, it adds a tactile, sensory depth you simply can't get from metal or plastic.
The result: every lamp becomes a small architectural moment, not just a fixture.

Wasnt sure about the size online but it turned out fine. The table lamp doesnt feel too big or too small in person. It just sits there comfortably. The wood finish is smoother than I expected. That surprised me a bit.
Using this table lamp for late night reading and it works fine for that. Not too complicated or anything. Just turns on and does its job. The base feels heavier than expected which is good.
The table lamp is sitting on a small side table and it just blends in naturally. The wood gives it a bit of warmth that wasnt there before. Kind of hard to explain but it works. I kept it there.
Been using it for a while now and its fine, no issues. The table lamp just does what its supposed to do. I dont really think about it which is probably good.
Didnt assemble much, mostly just placed it and plugged it in. The table lamp worked right away. No weird setup or anything confusing. I like when things are that simple. This was one of those.
