Real Charcoal · Bespoke Sculptural Form
Charcoal Halo LED Chandelier
Thousands of small charcoal pieces — real charcoal, suspended on fine steel wires from a chrome canopy — gather into a hovering ring nearly seven feet across. The integrated LED inside the form lights the negative space at the ring's center, with light scattering through the gaps between charcoal chunks. At over 200 lbs and 79.9″ tall, the Charcoal Halo is built as a contemporary art installation for atriums, gallery spaces, and large-scale hospitality interiors.
The fixture in motion — light scattering through the suspended charcoal.
The fixture exceeds 200 lbs (90+ kg). Installation requires direct anchoring into a concrete or structural-beam ceiling — gypsum drywall and standard ceiling boxes will not hold the load. Hardwired by a licensed electrician familiar with high-load installations. Confirm your ceiling's structural capacity before ordering.
The default form is a 178 × 203 cm O-ring, but the Halo can be built into any shape, letter, or scale you specify. Send us your sketch, dimensions, and ceiling plan; our in-house team configures and quotes before production starts.

Letters, forms, sizes — to order.
Select at time of order. Integrated LED is fixed at manufacture.
Warm white — closest to candlelight, contrasts the charcoal warmth.
Neutral white — sharper definition, suits gallery installations.
Cool daylight — crisp, dramatic contrast against the charcoal.

The fixture exceeds 200 lbs. Standard gypsum drywall and the metal ceiling boxes used for typical light fixtures are rated for a fraction of this load. The Charcoal Halo must be anchored directly into concrete, a steel beam, or other structural support. If your ceiling is drywall, your contractor will need to identify and reinforce a structural attachment point before installation. We recommend a structural engineer's review for ceilings under 12 ft tall.
Yes — this is core to the Halo. Beyond the default O-shape, the form can be built into any letter, custom outline, or scale you specify. Send us your sketch and ceiling dimensions; our in-house team will quote a configuration before production. The default 178 × 203 cm O is the size shown in the photographs.
An integrated LED is concealed inside the metal armature behind the charcoal mass. Light scatters outward through the gaps between charcoal pieces, with the brightest output reading at the ring's open center. There are no exposed bulbs to see or replace.
Atriums, gallery spaces, museum installations, hotel lobbies, restaurant ceilings, and large private residences with double-height or vaulted spaces. The Charcoal Halo is most often specified for ceilings 14 feet or higher, where the seven-foot ring reads clearly from below. Smaller custom configurations can suit lower-ceilinged spaces.
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
Energy-efficient LEDs deliver a brighter, longer-lasting glow with none of the upkeep of traditional bulbs.
