Inspiration

The Duvora Floor Light is a sculptural double-shade floor lamp — two curved walnut-stained wood stems rising from a U-shaped wood base, each topped with a cream linen tapered cone shade. The taller stem reaches up while the shorter sits at side-table height, like two mushrooms growing from one root. Both shades light up. 24.8″ wide × 59″ tall. Two E26 sockets. For a living room reading corner, master bedroom, foyer, or studio. Organic modern, Japandi, mid-century modern, and modern wabi-sabi style.

Good To Know
!
2 × E26 bulbs included · two-shade silhouette · floor-standing · some assembly · indoor dry locations only Two cream linen cone shades sit on top of two curved wood stems that rise from a shared U-shaped base. Each shade houses its own E26 socket — both light up together, controlled by a single cord switch. The two cones at staggered heights create a layered glow, brighter close to the taller shade and softer at the lower one. Stands 59″ (150 cm) tall and 24.8″ (63 cm) wide at the base. Some assembly — attach the stems to the base, seat the shades, route the cord. Wood grain and stain tone may vary slightly from the listing photo, which is characteristic of stained wood, not a defect. The included low-heat LED bulbs are the safer match for the linen shades. Indoor, dry locations only.

Solid U-shaped wood base finished in dark walnut stain. The two curved stems flow up from a single bottom block — reads as one continuous sculptural form.
Sculptural Double-Mushroom Form

Use Case

The Duvora reads first as a floor-level sculpture and second as a light source. The two cream shades at staggered heights pair against the dark walnut U-base for a contrast-rich silhouette — one of those pieces that holds a corner of the room even when the lamp is off. At 59″ tall with the taller shade and ~30″ at the shorter shade, it has presence without overwhelming — sits well next to a sofa, beside a low-back armchair, or in a foyer corner.

The taller shade aims warm light downward from about 59″ up; the shorter shade glows at about 30″ side-table height — together they cast a layered ambient pool, brighter at the top, softer at the bottom. Place beside a sofa arm or a reading chair so the taller shade falls roughly behind your shoulder — that’s the height where the upper light works best for reading. The lower shade fills the same corner with secondary glow. Pair with overhead lighting if you need brighter task light. The dark walnut + cream linen palette pairs with white oak, light bouclé and linen upholstery, jute and sisal rugs, and warm-white paint — fitting organic modern living rooms, Japandi master bedrooms, mid-century reading corners, and modern wabi-sabi studios. Plug into a standard outlet, no electrician required. For custom requests or trade pricing, email info@docos.us.

FAQ
Do both shades light up?
Yes — both shades light up. Each cone has its own E26 socket inside (two sockets total), and both turn on together with a single cord switch. The taller shade pools warm light from up high; the shorter glows at side-table level. Together they create a layered ambient read — brighter close to the top shade, softer at the lower one. Both bulbs are included with the lamp.
What bulb does it take, and is it included?
The Duvora uses 2 × E26 (medium screw base — one in each shade) and ships with both bulbs included. Stay in the 2700–3000K warm white LED range for a soft glow that suits the linen shades. Low-heat LED is the safer match for fabric shades — avoid hot incandescent or halogen replacements. Check the wattage rating on the socket label inside each shade before swapping bulbs.
Is the wood solid walnut?
The wood is walnut-stained — finished to read as dark walnut, not necessarily made from solid walnut species. Wood grain and stain tone vary slightly from the listing photo, which is characteristic of stained wood, not a defect. The piece feels solid and substantial; the dark walnut finish pairs cleanly with both warm and cool interiors.
How heavy is it, and will it tip over?
The lamp stands on a wide U-shaped wood base (24.8″ / 63 cm across at the bottom), which is deliberately weighted and wide to counter the two upright stems. Set it on a hard floor or low-pile rug for the most stable footing. On thick or uneven rugs, the lamp can rock. Don’t hang anything off the shades, and keep the cord routed where it won’t get tugged accidentally.
Plug-in or hardwired?
The Duvora is plug-in — cord runs to a standard 120V wall outlet. No electrician needed. Some assembly is required (stems to base, shades to stems, route the cord through the taller stem), but it’s hand-tool only. Switch is on the cord; on/off switch routing depends on shipment.

Solid Wood Lighting

Natural warmth,
timeless character.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

Why Wood Lighting?

Three reasons it feels different.

01

Light that's softer on the eye

Wood diffuses warm 2700K light across its grain — no glare, no clinical glow. Every bulb feels like late-afternoon sun.

02

No two pieces alike

Tonal variation, knots, and grain patterns are signatures, not flaws. Your lamp will be subtly its own — and only yours.

03

Sustainably sourced

We use FSC-certified North American hardwoods and finish with low-VOC oils. Built to last decades, not seasons.

Hands measuring wood with precision tools

Precision in every line

From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.

Hands carving wood by hand

Crafted by hand, inspired by nature

Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.

Choose Your Grain

Four hardwoods, four moods.

Most Docos pieces are offered in the four hardwoods below. Pick the species that suits your room — they age beautifully, each in their own way.

White Oak
Warm honey

Open grain, golden tone. The most versatile pick — pairs with every interior style.

Black Walnut
Rich espresso

Deep chocolate hues, ribbon grain. Statement-piece energy in any room.

White Ash
Pale linen

Light, airy, almost Scandinavian. Works in bright minimal interiors.

Black Cherry
Reddish amber

Develops a deeper patina with age — the longer you own it, the better it looks.

Soft warm light from sculptural wood pendant lamps

Naturally Warm Ambience

Light that feels like home.

Wood's organic surface filters and softens illumination — reducing glare, casting a warm, diffused glow. Beyond the look, it adds a tactile, sensory depth you simply can't get from metal or plastic.

The result: every lamp becomes a small architectural moment, not just a fixture.
