Retro Satilla Chandelier

DCC-19342-01

$500.00 USD $610.00 USD

| /

The Satilla Linear Globe Chandelier is a mid-century-inspired light for dining tables and kitchen islands — a slim metal frame in line, each arm holding a milk-white glass globe. The frosted glass diffuses the bulb into a soft, even glow with no glare across the table. Available in two lengths (39″ and 59″) and two finishes — warm gold or brushed nickel.

Linear over-table layout A horizontal run of globes spreads light evenly down the length of a dining table or island — not a single hot spot in the center.
🥛 Milk-glass globes Each globe diffuses the bulb into soft, omnidirectional light. No glare on the table, no harsh shadows on faces.
🎨 Gold or nickel finish Warm gold for mid-century rooms, brushed nickel for modern. Both paired with milk-white glass globes.
🎚 40W, dimmer compatible Up to 40W per globe — bright enough to light a full table at dinner, dimmable down to a low evening glow.

Where It Works
🍽 Dining table Center the fixture over the table, globes hanging 30-36″ above the surface. The 5-head suits tables seating 6-8.
🔪 Kitchen island Run it the length of the island for even task light on the countertop. Match fixture length to about two-thirds of the island.
🛋 Living / sitting area Over a console or long coffee table, the linear form anchors the space without a bulky central body.

FAQs
What size Satilla linear chandelier should I choose?

The 3-head (39″) suits tables and islands 4-6 ft long, seating 4-6. The 5-head (59″) is for longer dining tables and islands 6-9 ft. As a rule, the fixture should be about half to two-thirds the length of the table below it.

How high above the table should it hang?

Hang the bottom of the globes about 30-36 inches above the tabletop — even light, clear sightlines across the table. The included 19.7″ rod can be shortened on-site to fine-tune the drop.

What bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

E26 or E27 socket, up to 40W per globe. Use a warm-white LED globe bulb (G25 or G125) for the best glow through the milk glass. Compatible with standard wall dimmers; bulbs and dimmer sold separately.

What finishes are available?

Two: gold and brushed nickel, both with milk-white glass globes. Gold reads warm and mid-century; brushed nickel reads cooler and more modern.

What ceiling height does it need, and can the rod be shortened?

The fixture hangs from a rigid 19.7″ rod, best suited to standard 8-10 ft flat ceilings. A licensed electrician can shorten the rod on-site for lower ceilings. For very high ceilings, contact hello@docos.com about rod extensions before ordering.

Questions
How many pendants do I need over an island?

About one pendant per 2′–3′ of island. Most 6′–8′ islands use a trio or a single linear; 4′–6′ islands use two; 10′+ islands use three to four or a long linear bar.

How high should island lighting hang?

30″–36″ above the counter to the bottom of the fixture, with 34″ a reliable midpoint. Add about 3″ per foot of ceiling above 8′.

Linear or a set of pendants?

Linear for the cleanest sightline on 6′+ islands; a pendant trio for a layered look on 6′–8′ islands; a multi-light bar for 10′+ islands.

Can these install on a sloped ceiling?

Most canopies fit pitches up to 15°. For steeper slopes, request a sloped-ceiling adapter — send us the angle and we'll confirm fit.

Are they dimmable, and what's the warranty?

Yes, all dim with a compatible wall dimmer. Wired for 120V, certified to North American standards, with a 2-year warranty on fixture and wiring.
