La Ley de Derechos de Autor del Milenio Digital (DMCA) es una ley de derechos de autor de los Estados Unidos de 1998 que implementa dos tratados de 1996 de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI). Penaliza la producción y difusión de tecnología, dispositivos o servicios destinados a eludir las medidas que controlan el acceso a obras protegidas por derechos de autor (comúnmente conocido como gestión de derechos digitales o DRM). También tipifica como delito el acto de eludir un control de acceso, independientemente de que exista o no una infracción real de los derechos de autor. Además, la DMCA aumenta las sanciones por infracción de derechos de autor en Internet. Aprobada el 12 de octubre de 1998 por voto unánime en el Senado de los Estados Unidos y promulgada como ley por el presidente Bill Clinton el 28 de octubre de 1998, la DMCA enmendó el Título 17 del Código de los Estados Unidos para ampliar el alcance de los derechos de autor, limitando al mismo tiempo la responsabilidad de los proveedores de servicios en línea por la infracción de derechos de autor por parte de sus usuarios.

The client wanted a single sculptural piece to anchor a double-height lobby in a renovated 19th-century building. Six rounds of 3D renders, two finish samples couriered to the architect, and a final fixture composed of 84 hand-blown glass elements at staggered heights.

Standard linear pendants top out at 1.8 meters. The client's reclaimed-oak dining table was four meters long. Our makers extended the fixture's internal frame, added two additional lamp modules, and matched the brass finish to a sample of the client's existing cabinet pulls.

A chef-owner opening a wine-forward neighborhood bistro wanted the bar lit like a 1920s Parisian zinc — low, warm, and a little theatrical. Stock dish pendants felt too polished. Our makers hand-spun shallow brass shades, aged the finish to a soft patinated gold, and paired each with an exposed squirrel-cage Edison filament tuned to 2200K.
