The Caprani Floor Lamp revisits the Scandinavian design motifs of the 1970s with a whimsical flair, seamlessly blending into any environment while offering a distinct aesthetic appeal. Its name is inspired by the concept of tree lines, which are the natural demarcations between forested areas and rocky terrains. In this design, the contrasting materials of wood and iron are used to embody this idea, presenting a striking mix of natural and industrial elements.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.
Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.
