Merritt Floor Light

The Merritt Floor Light is a two-light floor lamp with a turned walnut-finish oak stem and two brass gooseneck arms, each holding a pleated fabric shade with a scalloped lace-trim hem. The dark wood column carries brass-tone ring accents and sits on a round walnut wood base with a brass center. It stands 53.3″ (135.5 cm) tall, with the shades spread 11″ (28 cm) across and an 11″ (28 cm) base, and takes two E27 bulbs (included). For a bedroom corner, living room, or reading nook.

The Merritt's two pleated fabric shades and two gooseneck arms give a warm, diffused glow rather than a single bright beam, so it works as a floor reading lamp beside a chair or sofa, a corner lamp in a bedroom, or ambient lighting in a living room or study. At 53.3″ (135.5 cm) tall on an 11″ (28 cm) base, it lights a chair from above and takes a small footprint — the two arms let you light a sofa pair or a reading chair plus side table from one fixture. A foot switch on the cord turns it on and off without reaching the shade.
