Inspiration

The Petavin Pendant Light is a four-petal sculptural pendant — two curved walnut-wood petals paired with two cream linen petals, arranged in a crossing X formation around an exposed globe-shape bulb. A wood-bead finial and brass-tone twisted cord drop from the ceiling. One E26 socket. Three sizes — 15.7″, 19.7″, or 23.6″ wide — for a dining table, kitchen island, breakfast nook, foyer, or bedroom. Japandi, organic modern, wabi-sabi, and mid-century modern style.

Good To Know

!
1 × E26 bulb included · three sizes · hardwired install · indoor dry locations only Each piece has two bent walnut-wood petals with visible wood grain and two cream linen petals stretched on matching curved frames. Wood grain pattern and linen weave tone vary slightly piece to piece, which is characteristic of natural wood and natural fiber, not a defect. The bulb hangs exposed below the petal canopy — the included opal-glass globe-shape LED gives the soft glow seen in the listing photo. If swapping the bulb, choose a warm-white opal / frosted globe-shape LED (G25 or G80) to keep the look consistent — a clear bulb will read very differently. Use LED only; the wood and linen petals both prefer cool bulbs. Hardwires to a ceiling junction box; have a licensed electrician install. Plan headroom: hang the bottom of the petals about 30–36″ above a dining table, or roughly 7′ from the floor over a walkway. Indoor, dry locations only.
Key Features

Four-Petal Crossing Silhouette
Four curved petals arranged in a crossing X around an open center — from below the lamp reads like a flower or butterfly; from the side, two waves overlapping. Asymmetric, sculptural, looks different from each angle.
Bent Walnut Wood + Linen Petals
Two petals are bent walnut-wood veneer with visible grain, two are cream linen stretched on curved frames — warm wood paired with soft fabric for tonal contrast.
Wood-Bead Finial + Brass Cord
Topped with a dark walnut bead and small brass-tone finial that connect to a brass-tone twisted-cloth cord — warm, vintage-leaning hardware that frames the petals instead of competing with them. The bulb hangs exposed below for a soft, direct glow.

Use Case

The Petavin is a sculpture first, light source second — the four-petal cross is the visual anchor whether the bulb is on or off. From below it reads like a flower opening; from the side, two waves crossing. The bulb hangs exposed clearly below the petals, casting a warm direct ambient light downward; the linen petals catch a soft side-glow when lit. Best for ambient or accent lighting — pair with overhead recessed cans if you also need direct task light over food prep.

Scale to your space: Small (15.7″) for a 4-seat dining table, breakfast nook, foyer, or bedroom; Medium (19.7″) for a 6-seat table or master bedroom — the everyday choice; Large (23.6″) for an 8-seat table, wide kitchen island, or a high-ceiling living room as a sculptural focal point. The walnut + cream linen + brass palette pairs with white oak floors, raw linen and bouclé upholstery, plaster walls, terracotta or warm-neutral paint, rattan accents — fitting Japandi dining rooms, organic modern living rooms, wabi-sabi bedrooms, and Scandinavian kitchens. FAQ

Which size should I pick?
Pick by what’s underneath. Small (15.7″) for a 4-seat dining table, breakfast nook, foyer, or bedroom. Medium (19.7″) for a 6-seat dining table, medium kitchen island, or master bedroom — the everyday size. Large (23.6″) for an 8-seat dining table, a wide kitchen island, or a high-ceiling living room. A common rule: pendant width should be about half to two-thirds of the table width.
What bulb does it take, and is it included?
The Petavin uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base) and ships with a bulb included. Use LED only — not incandescent or halogen. The bent-wood veneer petals and linen petals both prefer cool bulbs. Stay in the 2700–3000K warm white range — warm light brings out the walnut grain and softens the cream linen.
Is the wood real walnut or veneer?
The wood petals are bent walnut-wood veneer — thin layers of real walnut shaped over a curved form. This is how you get the smooth, organic curve seen in the petals; solid walnut cannot bend that thin without cracking. The veneer shows real walnut grain, just over a structural form. Grain pattern varies piece to piece, which is characteristic of natural wood, not a defect.
Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?
It’s a hardwired ceiling fixture connecting to a junction box, with a brass-tone twisted cord that can be shortened during install. We recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, code-compliant install — the wood and linen petals and the exposed bulb all need careful handling during mounting.
How do I clean the wood, linen, and bulb?
Dust the wood petals with a dry or barely-damp soft cloth — don’t soak veneer. Dust the linen petals with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum; spot-test mild soap on an inside seam first if needed. Wipe the bulb with a microfiber cloth (turn off and let cool first). Avoid ammonia glass cleaners and harsh solvents. Always turn off the circuit at the breaker before cleaning.
