What Makes Us Different?

At Docos, we believe that lighting should do more than brighten a space—it should bring a sense of calm, beauty, and intention to everyday living. Each piece is made with care, combining age-old techniques with modern simplicity to create lighting that speaks softly, yet leaves a lasting impression. From concept to creation, we honor authenticity, quality, and the natural materials that make every lamp feel alive.

Soft glow, warm company
Immerse yourself in a warm, soothing, and visually pleasing light—perfect for cozy evenings, quiet reading, or moments of relaxation.
Crafted by Hand, Made to Be Unique
Each lamp is delicately handcrafted using traditional washi paper. Carefully cut and shaped with precision molds, then air-dried to perfection—resulting in a one-of-a-kind texture and a warm, organic presence.

The Art of Xuan Paper Making: A Thousand Years of Craftsmanship

Washi, traditional Japanese paper, is crafted from the inner barks of plants like kozo, mitsumata, and gampi. The process involves carefully stripping, boiling, and pounding the fibers into pulp, which is then spread onto bamboo mesh to form delicate sheets. Known for its strength, translucency, and soft texture, washi has been a vital part of Japanese culture for centuries, seen in origami, lanterns, and sliding doors, embodying the nation's enduring artistry and grace.
