Most pendants are a circle from below. Bellerin is a flower. Its wide, shallow shade breaks into scalloped petals at the rim, each one outlined by a slim band of dark metal — so the fixture reads as a drawing in the air, not a block of fabric.
The shade is stretched from abaca — a banana-family fiber prized for its long, strong strands. Held to the light, the weave shows a faint linear grain, like fine paper with a memory of the plant it came from. No two shades carry exactly the same pattern.
