This item was not packaged very well and it was broken in transit. It is a cute lamp, but I'll look for another one that is more sturdy. I ended up returning it.

I ordered this light to put on each side of my T.V above my fireplace. We keep the lights on all of the time. It is soft so that it can be a good safe way to go into my den at night. I am thinking about getting a set for my dinning room. More to come latter.

This is an expensive item but it worked very nicely. I installed these on either side of a bed and they look really warm and do not dominate the area.
