The Bravelle Chandelier is a mid-century modern multi-arm chandelier — dark-stained ash wood arms radiating from a gold-tone center hub on a gold-tone downrod, each arm ending in a wood ball and an opal glass mushroom dome shade. Three sizes: 29.5″ (3-arm), 35.4″ (6-arm), or 43.3″ (8-arm). E26 sockets. For a dining room, living room, foyer, double-height entry, or kitchen island. The mushroom-dome shades read horizontal rather than spiky, so the chandelier sits comfortably under a standard 9-foot ceiling without feeling aggressive. Which size should I pick for my space?

Pick by table or room size. Small (29.5″, 3-arm) over a 4-6 seat dining table, breakfast nook, or smaller foyer under a 9-foot ceiling. Medium (35.4″, 6-arm) over a 6-seat dining table, kitchen island, or medium foyer under 9-10 foot ceilings. Large (43.3″, 8-arm) for 8-10 seat dining tables, double-height foyers, or formal living rooms with 10-foot+ ceilings. Rough rule: chandelier diameter should be roughly half the dining-table width. Hang the bottom 30-36 inches above a dining table; for open-room install, leave 7 feet of clearance from the floor.

How many bulbs do I need — are they included?

Bulb count depends on size: Small = 3 bulbs, Medium = 6 bulbs, Large = 8 bulbs. All sockets are E26 (US medium screw base). LED bulbs are included by default. Each socket takes one E26 LED, max 9-12W, 2700-3000K warm white. No incandescent or halogen — they run hot near the ash wood arms. Standard A19 or A15 LED bulbs from Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, or any lighting retailer work for replacements.

How does the modular downrod work?

The chandelier ships with two downrod sections in the same gold-tone finish: a 7.9″ (20 cm) piece and an 11.8″ (30 cm) piece. You can: (1) use just the 7.9″ piece for a low-profile drop under a standard 8-foot ceiling, (2) use just the 11.8″ piece for a slightly longer drop under a 9-foot ceiling, or (3) combine both pieces for a 19.7″ total drop for higher ceilings (10-foot+) or double-height entries. The downrods are threaded standard pipe fittings, and the electrician chooses the right combination during install.

How do I install it — do I need an electrician?

Yes — have a licensed electrician install. Multi-bulb chandeliers need each socket wired through the center hub, then run to the ceiling junction box. The Small size (3-arm) is straightforward; the Large (8-arm) takes more time. The chandelier is moderately heavy — estimate Small ~8 lbs, Medium ~12 lbs, Large ~16 lbs. A standard 50 lb-rated ceiling junction box anchored to a joist is sufficient for all three sizes, but the box itself must be properly anchored, not just nailed into drywall.

How do I clean the wood arms and glass shades?

Turn off and let the chandelier cool first. Glass mushroom shades: wipe with a soft microfiber cloth, lightly damp if needed; a household glass cleaner works for occasional deeper cleaning. Ash wood arms and ball connectors: dust with a dry microfiber cloth; for stains, use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately — don’t soak the wood or use solvents which strip the walnut-tone finish. Gold-tone hub and downrod: dry cloth only; the gold-tone finish is durable but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives which can scratch the coating. Dust every 3-6 months in normal dining-room conditions.
