I love the aesthetic of this lamp. Redefines the room! However, the base of the lamp is separate from the luminous globe and they scratch each other. Over time, I can tell this won't age well. On the other hand, it's such a timeless style so it may very well be worth it to you as it is to me.
This light is absolutely gorgeous in person. It was easy to install and instantly updated our hall.
