Inspiration

The Gildwing Chandelier gathers brass butterfly-shaped pieces along curved branch-like stems, clustered into a bowl-shaped silhouette that hangs from a 19.7″ adjustable hanging chain. The brass butterflies catch the light from E14 bulbs nestled within the cluster, well suited as a dining room centerpiece, a living room chandelier, or a foyer statement in a glam, eclectic, or organic space. It's available in two sizes — D60cm × H30cm or D80cm × H40cm — so the same butterfly-cluster design scales from a smaller dining table to a larger room. It runs on E14 bulbs, with brass as the sole material throughout the fixture.

Why Brass Has Never Gone Out of Style

Brass has furnished homes for centuries, and it hasn't survived by accident. Unlike chrome or nickel finishes that scratch through to reveal a dull base metal, solid brass ages from the surface down — each fingerprint, each year of use, folding into a patina that makes the piece feel more, not less, considered. It sits comfortably in a traditional foyer and just as easily in a minimalist kitchen, which is part of why designers keep returning to it. Every fixture in this collection is cast in solid brass, not brass-plated steel, so the warmth you see on day one is the same warmth that will still be there in twenty years.

Four Finishes

Every Shade of Brass

Same solid-brass base, four distinct characters — from mirror-bright to deliberately weathered. Pair by room, not just by taste.

Polished Brass
Bright, reflective, formal. Best for foyers and dining rooms wanting a jewelry-like shine.
Antique Brass
Warm, muted, lived-in. The most versatile finish — pairs with wood tones and vintage decor.
Satin Brass
Soft matte glow, fingerprint-resistant. Suited to modern and transitional interiors.
Aged / Bronzed Brass
Deep, shadowed, almost bronze. Reads moody and grounded against dark walls.

Six Ways to Bring Brass Home

How It's Made

Cast, Not Stamped

Solid brass casting process
01

Solid-Cast Brass Bodies

Each arm and body is cast from solid brass rather than stamped from sheet metal — giving the fixture real weight and a resistance to denting that plated alternatives can't match.

Hand-applied brass finishing
02

Hand-Applied Finish

Antique and aged finishes are hand-rubbed in small batches, so no two fixtures patina in exactly the same pattern — a quiet signature of the process, not a flaw.

ETL-certified wiring inspection
03

ETL-Certified Wiring

Every fixture is fully wired and tested to US electrical safety standards before it ships from our Maryland warehouse — no separate certification steps required.

Why Brass

Built to Outlast the Trend Cycle

Ages, Doesn't Degrade

Solid brass develops a deeper patina over time instead of chipping or peeling like plated finishes on steel or zinc.

Pairs With Any Palette

Warm enough for wood and cream interiors, bold enough to anchor black hardware and dark walls.

Real Weight, Real Value

Solid castings feel substantial in the hand and on the ceiling — a tell of genuine brass versus a thin plated shell.
