The Nerisa Pendant Light is a rectangular jute-wrapped pendant with two tiers of cotton-cream fringe under a brass-tone box frame, suspended on a brass-tone chain. Jute rope is wound by hand over a metal frame; layered cotton tassels hang below for a textured, hand-crafted silhouette. One E26 socket inside. Available in three sizes — 15.7″, 19.7″, or 23.6″ wide — for a dining table, kitchen island, breakfast nook, foyer, or coastal-style living room. Coastal, bohemian, and modern boho style.

Which size should I pick?

Pick by what’s underneath. Size A (15.7″) for a 4-seat dining table, breakfast nook, or foyer. Size B (19.7″) for a 6-seat dining table or medium island — the everyday size that fits the most rooms. Size C (23.6″) for an 8-seat dining table, a wide kitchen island, or a high-ceiling living room. A common rule: pendant width should be about half to two-thirds of the table width.

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

The Nerisa uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base) and ships with a bulb included. For a soft dining glow, stay in the 2700–3000K warm white LED range. A low-heat LED is the safer match for the jute weave and cotton fringe, since they sit close to the socket inside the frame.

Will the cotton fringe shed or fray?

New cotton fringe may shed a few loose threads in the first few weeks — this is normal for natural-cotton tassel work. Trim any stray threads with sharp scissors flush to the fringe; don’t pull them. Once the loose ends settle, the fringe stops shedding. Color and length may vary slightly piece to piece — characteristic of hand-finished natural fiber, not a defect.

Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?

It’s a hardwired ceiling fixture connecting to a junction box, with a chain that can be shortened during install. We recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, code-compliant install — especially with the cotton fringe near the socket, careful routing of the cord through the chain matters.

Can I use it on a covered patio or in a bathroom?

No — jute and cotton are for indoor, dry locations only. Keep it out of bathrooms with showers or tubs, damp basements, kitchens directly above a sink with steam exposure, and covered outdoor patios. Humidity can weaken the jute weave, darken the cotton fringe, and accelerate mildew on natural fibers.
