Inspiration

The Noctis Arc Chandelier is a linear LED dining chandelier built from two carved solid pine wood panels clamped together into a thick oval-section shade — the gap running along the bottom between the two panels is where the light exits, and a row of ventilation slots along the underside manages heat from the LED module inside. The shade body is substantial: 20 cm deep × 20 cm tall in cross-section, giving it more visual weight than a thin-profile plank fixture. Two finish options — natural pine and walnut-stained pine — ship with a matching solid pine canopy sized to the fixture length. Three sizes are available: 47.2″, 59.1″, and 70.9″, drawing 40W, 50W, or 60W at 3000K warm white. The chunky wood profile and bottom-slit light output make it a functional fit for a mid-century modern dining room, organic modern kitchen island, or warm minimalist open-plan space where you want a wood fixture with visible mass rather than a thin bar. Hardwired; dimmable (dimmer sold separately).

Good To Know
!
Carved solid pine · 2 finishes · integrated LED · 3000K · 3 lengths · hardwired · dimmable · indoor dry only Light source is an integrated LED module — there is no replaceable bulb. Color temperature is fixed at 3000K warm white. Fixture is dimmable, but a compatible LED dimmer switch is not included — verify compatibility before purchasing separately. The shade is carved pine in either natural or walnut-stained finish; the canopy is solid pine matching the shade color. Hardwired to a ceiling junction box; professional installation is recommended. Solid pine — keep it indoor and dry; no damp or humid locations.
Key Features
Two-Panel Carved Pine Shade
Two carved solid pine panels form the oval cross-section shade. The bottom gap between panels is the light aperture; a row of ventilation slots on the underside manages heat from the LED module inside.
LED, 3000K
integrated LED at 3000K warm white — non-replaceable. Light exits through the bottom slit between the two wood panels, directing output downward onto the table or island surface.
Three Lengths · Two Finishes
Sizes: 47.2″ · 59.1″ · 70.9″ at 40W · 50W · 60W. Finishes: natural pine or walnut-stained pine — both include a matching solid pine canopy.
Size & Fit

All three sizes share the same 20 cm (7.87″) shade depth and 20 cm (7.87″) shade height — a noticeably chunkier cross-section than most linear LED chandeliers. The solid pine canopy sizes are 43 × 5.5 × 4.7 cm, 53 × 5.5 × 4.7 cm, and 63 × 5.5 × 4.7 cm for the three lengths respectively. For dining tables, a general guideline is to choose a fixture about two-thirds the table length, leaving roughly 12″ clear on each side.

!
Integrated LED · non-replaceable · dimmable (dimmer not included) · hardwired · indoor dry only LED is non-replaceable. If it fails after the warranty period, the fixture would need to be replaced. Before buying a separate dimmer, confirm it is rated for integrated LED loads — standard incandescent dimmers commonly cause flickering. The shade cross-section is 20 × 20 cm — significantly taller and deeper than flat-profile linear chandeliers; confirm ceiling clearance and visual proportion before ordering. Hang the shade bottom about 28–34″ above the table surface. Solid pine — keep it indoor and dry.

FAQ
Which length works for my dining table?
A standard guideline for linear chandeliers is about two-thirds the length of your table, leaving roughly 12″ clear on each side. The 47.2″ (120 cm) suits a 4–6 seat table, 59.1″ (150 cm) for a 6-seat, and 70.9″ (180 cm) for a long 8-seat table or kitchen island. Note: the shade body is 20 × 20 cm in cross-section — factor this into your proportion planning.
What is the difference between the two finishes?
Both finishes use carved solid pine construction. The natural pine finish shows the wood's warm light grain. The walnut-stained pine applies a dark stain to the same pine wood — it is a surface finish, not a different wood species. Each includes a matching solid pine canopy in the same finish.
How does the light come out of the shade?
The shade is formed by two carved pine panels clamped together into an oval cross-section. Light from the LED module inside exits through the gap along the bottom between the two panels, directing output downward. A row of small ventilation slots along the underside manages heat from the LED.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer do I need?
Yes, dimmable. A dimmer switch is not included. Use a dimmer rated for integrated LED loads — standard incandescent or halogen dimmers commonly cause flickering or buzzing. Check the dimmer manufacturer's compatibility list before purchasing.
Is it hardwired or plug-in?
It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and operates through your wall switch or compatible dimmer. No plug-in option. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Solid Wood Lighting

Natural warmth,
timeless character.

Each Docos lamp is shaped from a single, slow-grown hardwood — oak, walnut, ash, cherry — finished by hand and fitted with warm 2700K bulbs. No two pieces are alike, because no two trees are.

Why Wood Lighting?

Three reasons it feels different.

01

Light that's softer on the eye

Wood diffuses warm 2700K light across its grain — no glare, no clinical glow. Every bulb feels like late-afternoon sun.

02

No two pieces alike

Tonal variation, knots, and grain patterns are signatures, not flaws. Your lamp will be subtly its own — and only yours.

03

Sustainably sourced

We use FSC-certified North American hardwoods and finish with low-VOC oils. Built to last decades, not seasons.

Hands measuring wood with precision tools

Precision in every line

From measurement to finish, woodworking demands a balance of structure and patience. Every cut is squared, every joint dry-fit, every surface hand-sanded to 220 grit before oiling.

Hands carving wood by hand

Crafted by hand, inspired by nature

Each curve is shaped to honor the grain, not fight it. The result isn't just a lamp — it's a story of patience, passed from craftsman to customer through a single block of wood.

Choose Your Grain

Four hardwoods, four moods.

Most Docos pieces are offered in the four hardwoods below. Pick the species that suits your room — they age beautifully, each in their own way.

White Oak
Warm honey

Open grain, golden tone. The most versatile pick — pairs with every interior style.

Black Walnut
Rich espresso

Deep chocolate hues, ribbon grain. Statement-piece energy in any room.

White Ash
Pale linen

Light, airy, almost Scandinavian. Works in bright minimal interiors.

Black Cherry
Reddish amber

Develops a deeper patina with age — the longer you own it, the better it looks.

Soft warm light from sculptural wood pendant lamps

Naturally Warm Ambience

Light that feels like home.

Wood's organic surface filters and softens illumination — reducing glare, casting a warm, diffused glow. Beyond the look, it adds a tactile, sensory depth you simply can't get from metal or plastic.

The result: every lamp becomes a small architectural moment, not just a fixture.
