Pick by wall depth and what you’re lighting. Compact (~23″ max reach, 34 + 25 cm arm sections) suits twin/full-size headboards, narrow hallways, and tight reading nooks. Standard (~32″ max reach, 45 + 36 cm arm sections) suits queen/king beds, wider walls, and workbenches where you want the light to swing across a surface. Both sizes have two pivot joints plus a tiltable head — folded, they sit close to the wall; extended, they reach the max above. Tighten the electroplated knuckles for the position you want.

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

The Rosso Swing Arm uses 1 × E26 (medium screw base) and ships with a bulb included. We recommend warm-white 2700–3000K LED for a soft reading or accent glow. A low-heat LED is the safer match for the aluminum shade since the bulb sits close. Check the wattage rating on the socket label inside the shade before swapping in a higher-wattage replacement.

Is it hardwired or plug-in?

Will the wall canopy cover a standard junction box?

The canopy is 4.7″ (12 cm) round. It covers a US standard single-gang junction box (typically ~3 × 2″) and a 4″ round box. The canopy is the structural anchor for the arm — mount it to the junction-box studs, not just into drywall. A licensed electrician can confirm your box compatibility on inspection.

How do I clean the aluminum arm and baked-finish shade?

Wipe the aluminum arm and electroplated joints with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed. The baked-finish shade takes a microfiber cloth with gentle pressure. Avoid abrasive sponges, ammonia glass cleaners, and harsh solvents — they can scratch the electroplating and dull the baked finish. Always turn off the circuit at the breaker before cleaning.
