Lighting as Sculpture

Floor lamps, pendants, and lit objects where the form is the point and the light is the medium — read as shape by day, as a warm glow after dark.

Form & Light

Form first, then light

Each piece is built to hold a room the way a sculpture does. The silhouette comes first — a geometric frame, a single arc, an abstracted figure — and the light is made to live inside it.

The LED is integrated into the body, so no exposed bulb or socket interrupts the line. Switched off, the fixture still reads as an object.

Line & Frame

A grammar of line and frame

Every model reduces to a few deliberate moves: a curve caught inside a triangle, square, or circle; a body stripped of detail until only the gesture remains.

The Aeon frames movement within a fixed outline; the figure pieces drop facial detail so the pose carries the meaning. Minimal by intent, not by subtraction.

Plate 03Material Expression
Resin · Bronze · Stone · Brass

Chosen for how it carries light

Cast resin holds a crisp matte-black edge; bronze and marble give the figure pieces weight; brass is pressed with fine ridges so light skims the surface.

Cast resin

Matte black, seamless geometric bodies.

Bronze & marble

Bronze, marble, and brass are natural materials — slight variation in tone, veining, and patina is inherent to each piece and not a defect. For a specific finish, email us before ordering.

Scale & Placement

Sized to anchor a room

A focal point, not fill light. Scaled to hold an entryway, a stairwell landing, a living-room corner, or the empty wall a dining room turns its back to.

Light & Shadow

Light as the medium, shadow as the line

The integrated LED runs a warm 2700K glow and is rated for roughly 50,000 hours — the source never has to be replaced or seen. The fixture draws with light, and with the shadow it throws across wall and floor.

By day, a matte form. By night, a line of light. Either way, composed to be looked at.

Plate 07 · Why Docos

We believe light is the soul of any space — so we build it to be worth looking at, lit or not.
