Alongside our standard metal finishes, we offer the full Pantone® Solid Coated range as a hand-sprayed lacquer finish. Send us a code — we build your fixture to that exact chip.
"Sage," "dusty rose," "warm charcoal" — every monitor, every paint bench, and every person reads those descriptions a little differently. A Pantone number doesn't leave room for that. It's the same physical chip in the official library, on our spray table, and printed on your quote.
Pantone Connect is the brand's own free color browser — no account needed, just the code that appears when you hover a swatch.
No display renders color with perfect accuracy — the swatch on your screen is a helpful guide, not the final word. That's why we always photograph the sprayed test panel next to the actual Pantone chip and send it over before your fixture touches the paint booth. Nothing gets painted until you've seen the real thing.
There are over 2,300 colors in the full library, but if you need a starting point, these are the references we're asked for most on lighting commissions. Tap a card to load its code into the request form.
Screen colors are approximations — final matching always happens against the physical chip.
The Pantone code sets the hue. The sheen you choose changes how that hue actually reads in a room. Pick one when you send us your code.
A soft, near-zero-shine surface that absorbs light instead of bouncing it back. Reads modern and architectural, and hides dust and fingerprints better than any other sheen. Our go-to for darker or more saturated colors.
A subtle low-luster sheen that gives color some depth without turning the fixture into a mirror. This is the classic furniture-lacquer look — closest to what you'd see on painted millwork or cabinetry.
A deep wet-look finish, built up from several hand-leveled clear coats. Dramatic and reflective — pastels take on a candy-like brightness, and darker shades read like lacquered boxes.
Scroll sideways through the six stages, from your first message to a crated, ready-to-ship fixture.
Drop in your Pantone code, tell us which fixture it's for, and add anything else that matters. Prefer to write it out yourself? Email info@docos.us with the subject "Custom Pantone Color".
Over 2,300 colors, one honest way to specify each of them, and an atelier that paints exactly what the code says.
