What size chandelier do I need for my table?

The 4-light (71cm diameter) works over a 4-seat round table or 1.5m table. The 6-light (107cm) fits a 1.8–2.4m table or island. The 4+4 two-tier (122cm) suits an 8–10 seat table or double-height room.

How high should I hang the chandelier above my table?

Over a table, position the rod tips about 75–85cm (30–34″) above the surface. Use the included 30cm (11.8″) or 40cm (15.7″) suspension rods, or both together, to set the drop.

Can I use a dimmer switch with this chandelier?

Yes. The included warm-light bulbs work with dimmers. Add a dimmer for adjustable ambient light, especially for dining.

What materials are the frame and shades made from?

The hub, arms, rods and collars are brass (available in Brass, Black, Satin Nickel or White finish). The shades are tapered white linen, open at top and bottom.

How should I clean and care for the chandelier?

Dust the linen shades with a soft brush—do not use water. Wipe the metal with a dry microfiber cloth.

How is the chandelier installed?

It is hardwired and the canopy mounts directly to a standard ceiling junction box. The suspension rods attach to the ceiling canopy.

Q: What bulbs does this chandelier use and are they included?

The fixture uses E12 or E14 LED candle bulbs (3–4W, 2700K warm light). Bulbs are included, one per shade. For replacements, choose short candle bulbs that stay inside the shade.

Inspiration

The Taverton Chandelier is a wagon-wheel hub with candles pinned to its spokes. From a flat brass disc at the center, straight rods run out like spokes with no rim to join them, and where each spoke ends a slim vertical rod is threaded through it, tapered at the bottom like a knitting needle and locked in place by a knurled brass collar. The candle sits on top of that rod: a tapered linen shade in place of a flame, cut narrow at the top and wider at the hem the way a candle shade clips over a taper. A single plain rod hangs the hub from the ceiling. Lit, the shades glow cream and throw a ring of warm light down onto the brass and up onto the ceiling.
