Capelle Pendant Light

The Capelle Pendant Light is a long-drop pendant from the Capelle collection — the same tapered capiz-shell cone shade as the Capelle Flush Mount, hung from a walnut-finish wood canopy on a single black cord, with a walnut wood disc and turned finial below. The shade is pearly and softly translucent, opening upward in a wide cone. Two sizes — small 13.8″ × 11.4″ (35 × 29 cm) and large 19.7″ × 14.2″ (50 × 36 cm) — both with 59″ (150 cm) overall drop. One E27 bulb (included).

The Capelle Pendant's capiz-shell cone shade opens upward, so the light throws up the cord and across the ceiling with a soft pearly glow leaking down through the shell — ambient and decorative light over a dining table, in an entryway, or above a kitchen island where you want a real pendant presence rather than a bright task wash. Pick the size to the spot: the small (35 cm shade) suits an entryway, breakfast nook, or stairwell; the large (50 cm shade) suits a dining table, kitchen island, or living room.

Both sizes drop a full 59″ (150 cm) from the ceiling to the finial, so plan headroom — about 30–36″ above a table surface for dining, or roughly 7 ft from the floor over a walkway. The walnut wood canopy, pearly shell shade, and turned wood finial give it a transitional, coastal, vintage look that mixes with wood, rattan, and natural-material rooms — and pairs with the matching Capelle Flush Mount and Capelle Floor Light for a coordinated set.
